Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Looking forward to meeting/riding with this group (if it ever stops rainning ) I just moved to Lowell and haven't found any good roads around here yet.

I've been riding for over three years, I started on a Yamaha YZF600R and recently changed it for an Aprilia RSV Mille (I love this thing!)

good road: shoot down south a little, pick up rt 2, head west untill you see signs for NY and turn around.

I live in Lowell as well .. PLENTY of riding minutes away ,,, Chelmsford , Westford , Bedford , Acton , ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, PLENTY . I could spend hours in a 10-15 mile radius from the house... If you can't find some good riding ,,,, your not looking !!!!

Dude , just head out rt 110 !!! Not sure what your looking for ???? But from there just stay on all the roads with double yellow lines ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and you'll have fun !! Trust Me ! If you want to go north ,, head out Mammoth road into Dracut ,, into NH ,,,,,, more than enough that way ,,,, breakoff of that road anywhere and twistys are in abundance . If your looking for roads like 17 in Vermont ,,,,,,, nothing like that ,, well ,,, to you get to VERMONT ! A short day ride ,, head out 119 to 123/124 those will take you into Vermont . If those roads don't do it for ya ,,, nothing will !!! I won't ride after work til about 7pm ,, people are in a hurry and on F-ing cell phones ,,, Crazy crazy ... But if you want to explore p-m me and I'll show you around . Where are you from ????

I've gone around rt 4, rt 225 and split into carslile (sp?), some other roads and mammoth in to NH but not far into it. Still exploring, I moved from Needham, lived in Roslindale before that. I know what you mean about traffic, it's crazy. I get home from work around 7 so I may take you on that offer and meet up for a quick tour

Let me modify that and say continue into NY on Rt. 2 until you hit Rt. 22. That short stretch of Rt. 2 (Taconic Trails) is steep and twisty. You drive through at a moderate pace looking for cops, get to Rt. 22 and turn around and go ripping back the other way! That section of Rt. 2 is usually less crowded than the part between Charlemont and North Adams!

NY? Damn! It'll probably take me half a day just to get there. I ride a sport bike not a sport tourer! I liked to go on long trips on my YZF, not sure how long I can go on this bike yet.

You guys were getting me scared, but I know you're just fucking with me Bike is not going anywhere

I too wish I could have it in my living room, never get tired of looking at it.

That's the point!

We do "long" rides at times. 500 miles isn't unheard of.

what clayton said... last time i went on a "ride" with these guys i got home 14 hours after i left that morning & ended up w/ 450 on the clock. (of course i stopped in at my Alma Matter to visit my old college roommates for a couple hours, but still)

Welcome - We're in Billerica, not far from you - I live right off of Route 4 so I ride that 4/225 route a lot. I rode 225 up towards Carlisle once past Kimball's and the road seemed pretty boring so I turned around and went home. Route 3A is alright up into Burlington, Route 62, there's a couple of decent roads in the vicinity, but what I really want to do is ride to the Cape.

I grew up in Newton and we ended up buying a house out here because it's too damn expensive now anywhere in the west of Boston area and this is about as far away as I wanted to be from my family.
