I'm 99% sure MA doesn't do temp plates, period. I had to get my plate from the registry prior to taking the bike home.

I can get the bike towed, but it has to have any current plates on there. AAA is awesome. If the RMV isnt open tomorrow, im kinda screwed on that.
If someone could help me out with a trailer n hookup I'd gladly buy you a beer.

I unfortunately won't be around to help sunday. I can say if you do "risk it" have a buddy following you real close to make it harder for the cops to see that you don't have a plate. Then again, I am known for giving the "worst advice ever". Renting a pickup form u-haul if nobody can hook you up would probably cost a lot less than the court costs, fines, etc. if you get bagged.

you're looking at 90 in mileage and 20 for the truck for the day, so $110 total. It's not cheap, probably better off going up in your own ride to make sure you want it and going back with the rental truck. you'll have less negotiation leverage if you show up with a rented truck too, kind of lets the seller know you are going to buy it. I honestly wish I could help you out, but even if I can free up the time my truck is out of operation. PM me with time details if you want a second set of hands looking it over, but hopefully someone with a truck can help you out for less than the uhaul would cost, and who has more knowledge than me. I've learned a lot about these as race bikes over the season but have never had one for the street.

I might as well just rent the uhaul. $110 bux isnt THAT bad. She (the seller) sounded like an upstanding person, and for $800.00 I think it'd be a steal even with a few minor issues.

If anyone has a utility van, i could use that.

Did the seller agree to sell it for $800? What I'm saying is if you show up in a truck it cost you over $100 to rent you lose negotiation ability. Maybe explain if you come up you're coming up serious, in a rented truck, cash in hand and will they take $800? If you know you can get it for $800, I say do it. Just my opinion... but that's a clean bike for that $. I'd try to find out if tires were actually new, or just low mileage but sitting on the bike 10 years dryrotting.

Cargo van or pickup, same $ from uhaul. Like I said, PM me if you want some company for the ride. Depending when I may be able to swing it. I'm no mechanic but I kinda know my way around an EX.
