where to go in the northeast?

hi, i just joined the forum, it seems to be very fun, thanks for letting me ba a part of it.
my problem might be a little different from many of yours, i came from colombia south america four years ago, had a couple accidents down there before i came here, and stayed away from bikes all these days, so finally last summer i bought a 2002 tl1000r, and once the bike had a temporary plate , i drove it the last two weeks of summer, but it isn't that easy to find where to go, if all your friends have cars, and none drive bikes, all i want to know is should i sell this bike? or is there really some fun to have in case i decide keeping it for next summer?
if you guys know any trips to do, if you want to invite me somewhere, i am 22 years old, have a girlfriend, and we both would go out with more couples, or a group of bikes... wathever
it just really SUCKS TO RIDE BY YOURSELF!!!

Hang out, and hang onto your bike. There are rides somewhere almost every weekend in the summer including 2 up rides. And there are some people here from CT that I am sure would love to hook up and get some riding in.
