Welcome (also) from Waltham. Make sure you take advantage of that MSF course, you're better off practicing hard and dumping their bike, than half-assing it at the course and dumping yours.
Good luck!
49 states do it one way, and Massachusetts does it their own way.
Welcome.

Welcome aboard. Plus 1 on the gear
Welcome. I just started riding this year as well but took the MSF course before ever even hopping on a bike. Invest in some good gear and read around and watch videos on technique and defensive driving, etc. it'll help alot.
Yea I def ride with gear def not those type of dudes that say gear is uncomfortable that I hear all the time, I have some get gel paded gloves with hard plastic knuckles basic riding gloves I bought before I saw all the real mesh gloves I could of invested in, I also have a joe rocket all weather jacket for know from GBM for 90, I def take riding serious As it can be fun and dangerous at times.... As for videos I've watchig alot of counter steering videos to help me out n the streets for turns and avoiding objects instead of hard braking
Hi I'm from Waltham and I ride a 08 R1. I ride all the time around Waltham. Hit me up sometime if you want to ride.

Welcome!
Welcome! Which dancing child are you? You must have lowered that bike of yours based on your picture.
You Sir know nothing of true greatness. I of course refer to ones ability to steal, drink and generally do nothing, and carry it off with style

Welcome! I had an 05 R6 and it was a blast, until I got over the racebike fad. Enjoy it, gear up, and stay safe!
