New England Auto Show starts today and goes through Monday at the Boston Convention Center.

I'll be there tonight.
Aside from the new Corvette, other exotics, and concepts, I'm hoping to check out the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the eco-Diesel - could be my first new car purchase if it really gets 30mpg!

In the past, Jeeps with diesels have not been made available for sale new in MA.
I'll probably be there Saturday afternoon.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
This new diesel is already 50-state legal. Also, there are other states I could buy from. To be honest, I'd love to see a midsized pickup with a diesel here in the states like the ones overseas. I haven't been to an auto show in a while so I'm pretty pumped for this one.
Oh, I would LOVE to see GM put the 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder into a Colorado or something like it. 260hp/260tq, mid-20s+ mpg potential? Put a 5spd in it and I'll take two!
How did you like the show?

It was decent. Definitely nice for people looking to buy this year. Gave you a way to see each vehicle without driving all over the place and getting hassled by sales people. Definitely helped my wife narrow down what SUV she would like.
Had a good time, as usual. Good amount of all-new models on display, a few I've been waiting to see. Got to take an FR-S for a spin. The drive programs are kind of a joke, as it's really just a lap around the block, but the Scion guys are cool and let me goose it a bit out back. Really liked the new MX-5 Club model too.

Show was good for checking out new models. I'm used to the Chicago Auto show (I've only lived here < a year) so needless to say I was disappointed at the lack of concepts and 2014 models. Still not a bad way to kill a few hours if you're close to the city.
I hope everyone stopped by the Ford display to get $50 in exchange for test driving a Ford in the next 2 months...
