Pontiac G6
Chevy Malibu
Mazda 6
Other ...Please explain??
I have to admit..you have some pretty sad choices on there. Toyota's are reliable, along with Honda's. If you want incredible gas mileage, you can't beat the Mini. I chose the Mazda because it was the only 'decent' choice. Also, I agree with NOT getting a Mitsubishi...junk.
Make some choices, and then check Consumer Reports for safety and reliability before you buy. If you're going to spend gobs of money, you better be fully informed before some screwball salesman tries to sucker you out of your every last dime.

Beware the counterfeit Mini!
Nissan Altima SE-R.. Nice car.. If you can drive a stick these are a lot of fun... Very quiet and plenty of get up and go 260 hp for the v6.. Oh and very nice fit and finish... Almost a poor mans Acura TL...

I suppose you all can guess what my choice would be <cough> mazda 3 <cough> but im a little partial...
My brother loves his Civic. Good gas mileage and the only times it has been in the shop have been accidents (3...one a year for his '02). My mom has a '97 Accord Coupe that she loves and an '03 s2000 that she LOVES and my dad swears by his CRV (he's on his second). I suppose one might say Im a black sheep....but get a Honda. Or a Mazda. Mitsu's are for people who don't mind having issues within 50 miles.

If you like to change cars do not buy a Honda because you can never really find a GOOD reason to get rid of them.
I've owned several, only because I have car-ADHD though, some new - some used, all with the same level of quality.
Only advice I would say is to stay away from first year anythings...no matter who the make is, give them a first year to get out the bugs.
its been mentioned... a mini isn too bad, a guy at work has one.. pretty peppy for a little car and good gas mileage.
cant say i'd be seen in one... but you're a girl, you can pull it off.

i would have to say that a honda, or suburu is a good buy but my friend just bought an altima and he loves it. take a look at that.
But safety is an issue too, and the size of those kinda scares me..And thankyou for noticing that I am a girl..Originally posted by oreo_n2

Uuhh...actually, size doesn't always matter. There are 6 airbags in a Mini, and they have tested incredibly well with the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. These cars have a misconception associated with them that they are "unsafe" due to their size. Click here for safety information.Originally posted by vrginrider

I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu and I would say if you like anything sporty do not get it. The mazda 6 is a much nicer looing and sportier car. The Malibu is decent, but its just kinda grandmaish.
