    Whatever will the unions do?

Oh, I know. Bankrupt another industry. Which ones next?

Grandpa won't be happy...he changes his car to a new one, always Chrysler, about every 5 years or so. Always the big ones, too. Right now he's got a Chrysler 300 fully loaded.

    I think it's two-pronged.

Unions + shitty cars that nobody wants.

I mean really, who wants a fuckin Sebring or PT Cruiser?

How many spare trannys and front ends do the Rams come with these days?

Is the Dakota still being made anymore? Will the head gasket survive to 100k if you are lucky?

Gotta love all those high milage Neons driving around everywhere. Oh, that's right, there are none.

At least they have the mini-van segment. They are relia---....oh shit. Nevermind. Guess Chrysler just plain should go out of business.

WRONG they dont make sebrings anymore

it doesnt matter if the cars last it matters if the cars sell....people dont keep their cars long enough for that to matter.

people usually dont own the same cars for more then 3-5 years.....

My dodge truck sucked, the magnum I'm driving is awesome, like the chargers, 300's, pretty much all the same car, viper is prettycool....the jeep lines have kick ass four wheel and are pretty nice. They tried with a bunch of new models but didn't predict the right trend, should have put more into economy and a sudo SUV, higher grades of luxiary, and/or all wheel drive passenger cars.

    Re: Chrysler Files Bankruptcy

I personally know two people who had their front-ends completely rebuilt TWICE within 100k on their Ram 1500's.

One of them even had his front tire come off completely while driving.

I haven't even had to do a CV boot on my Tacoma yet!

    Re: Chrysler Files Bankruptcy

my 2000 ram was sold with 106K miles and it had the front end parts replaced once at around 72K. No trans rebuilds and no motor work besides usual maint.

I have seen tundras with snapped camshafts, tundras with bent tailgates from just standing on them, tundras bed shake and hit the cab from going over bumpy terrain, blablaaa, no truck is perfect. The rams just happen to look the best
