    Re: Electric mower

My next push mower will be battery electric, but my first mower has to finish dying first.

Looks liek the one that is on sale is not the cross cut model.( 2 blades)
wondering if its worth it to get the 2 blade system as I do routinely mulch the leaves ( oak) etc on the ground.
current one is needing startign fluid to start with a new carb. and the spark plug new is just black with oil. probably will croak soon

    Re: Electric mower

I've got the one listed. I got it at the end of last season on clearance for less than $200 at home Depot. I'm impressed with it. I've got a quarter acre and one battery is more than enough to do it. I use the other battery in my weed Wacker.
I wish the bag was bigger but it is what it is.
The two things that slightly annoy me is the amount of safety features on it and it's lack of blade speed control. The blades go faster depending on grass load but by the time it picks up speed you've already moved it a few feet past what needed the extra power. I don't think most people would notice or care but I do. I would like a throttle control at times that I can set, like a boost button.

check out DTO... I'm tempted to buy something every month but I've got double of everything already. Still might get the ultra quiet blower
