Hurricane Ida!

...well, it's been downgraded to a tropical storm, so I'm super disappointed. I was hoping to see the eye of a hurricane. Either way, it's headed right for Pensacola, and my condo is right on the water, so we made preparations. Bought two 30 racks of beer, plenty of tobacco, work has been canceled for tomorrow and we have Wednesday off for Veterans Day... so we're going to sit out on our balcony over looking the Gulf and watch this puppy come right at us! YUUUT! They're predicting a possible 5 foot storm surge, and our parking lot is definitely not 5 feet above the water line, so we're going to load the bikes into the trailer, and move them north to Milton, FL. I'll try and take some pics, if I get anything good I'll post up! ohh, and food won't be a problem. One of the perks to being a Marine stateside is the abundance of MRE's

Ok, so the storm intensified as the night went on... so we had to go drink a couple beers outside in the driving rain and wind, however, it was too dark to get any pics of. Good news is, our lawn is starting to flood and the storm surge is knocking at the small sea wall... Hopefully by morning it has breached and I can get some sweet photos.
