Sorry, but my John Galt is a little more obscure although that guys website seems to be taking queues from my reference. You will either know it right away or not at all. I'm curious to see how many people, if any, know who he is!
I know who he is even though I couldn't bring myself to read the whole book.
I had little choice but to finish the book and do well on the test otherwise I would not have received my high school diploma. The book took 2.5 months of my life that I will never get back.Originally posted by benVFR

I must be the resident geek then. I know John Galt quite well, for when ever it was I read Atlas Shrugged, it hit dead center so perfectly that I thought it must be a religion.
Can't say I've been able to find the time to read it again, but it was well worth the read the first time, and likely one of the few books I can still re-tell events of the story.
Dagney Taggert, Francisco, Hank Rearden.. the whole gang.
pb.
ps - I know John Clark, Chavez, and that fictional crew pretty well too...
Workload for sale. Job sale possibility. Caretaker needed for housework and entertaining kids. I need some time back.
A steady job and a family has ruined many a good biker.
Is he not using Jack Ryan as his fictional character anymore? The last Clancy book I read was Rainbow Six. Can't remember if it was Clark or Ryan...Originally posted by Honclfibr

I just couldn't read Atlas Shrugged cause the story/ideas were so similar. One of these days I'll read the whole thing though.
