me: thinking (how can he observed in rear view mirror? he parked right at the apex of the curve and there were lots of trees and leaves. there were few curves before that.

my lawyer: something something... radar error... something...

judge: hes thinking (waste of time. you really have no defense do you?). guilty!

just a thought... but I know my job and integrity aren't worth giving you a ticket that I've lied about... believe it or not... you aren't that important... if I see you speeding and the radar says you are speeding... then I have PC to say that you were speeding... go figure...

Well put Vince, though I have had an officer give me a ticket for speeding when I wasn't. spoke to him on the phone and he agreed then lied on stand in court and followed me out to tell me 'too bad'.

well ok. here we go. this was a trial this morning for the ticket i got last Setember, 05. it was for 15mph over the limit in Stow, unknown territory.

who doesn't drive ride over 15mph everytime they go out?

this maybe small view but this is the way i see it. im just mr nobody. i drive a shitbox and rarely go over 60mph and im content with that. gives me time to think about things and don't lose focus on the road. i see myself as really good driver the past 6 years and being judged wrongly. so for any cop who only sees black and white, thru radar, and not who the person really is, i think he is an asshole. $150 is a lot of money to me + surcharge so yeah im hurting. but i know all of you will say

if i were to run into this cop in another part of the country on a vacation in his civilian cloth, then he's just another person who made my life miserable at one point in time because he just couldn't let the 15mph ticket go. it's not like i drink and drive and kill someone. i don't even drink. you see what im saying? comon be nice. cut some slack for people like me.

thanks Scott, i know. i thought about that. but i think it will take a lot more to start from nothing.

you will need trailer, something to tow it with, someone to go with you(well could count people here i hope), etc. it adds up quick.

i work for peanuts these days that's why im hurting and i feel that cop just gave me a good kick while im down. im working on better my skill for more paying job. it's hard and im sure a lot of people are doing the same thing.

i'm just pissed.

there were 2 trials before my case for drunk driving. i guess i was just lumped in there.

Kham, I believe it is the officer's job to look at everything in black and white. That is the reason why they are out there, to enforce the laws as they are written...in black and white.

I agree that the cop could have cut you a break. But if he is doing his job, he should give you and everyone who breaks the law, as written, the appropriate ticket. After all, that cop doesn't know anything about your personal situation.
