Might have to do some digging to find it, but Feed is a night of entertainment. Of course you could download Zeitgeist for some very well put together conspiracy theoiries. If you don't mind animated films, 5 cm per Second is a decent chick flickish watch. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has seasons 1-3 on dvd now, always entertaining. If you like spooky films, the original Shutter is good, not the American remake. Sunshine was decent if only due to it's bizarreness. I could go on an on, but keep in mind most of my suggestions will not be from Hollywood.
