i typically post the dumb shit when it comes to global warming as i dont believe in it at all
i am aware that its merely a "change" in weather patterns and climates
I am also aware that as much as the crazies would like us all to believe that its all because of the human race we dont have nearly enough history to make that determination no matter what tools they use for past climate analysis
we dont have the real numbers and its technically a comparison of apples to oranges
so
i like to use the most common misconceptions in my posts about global warming because technically it should be called exactly what it is "Weather"
YUP
if the poles flip one of 2 things could happen
Nothing
Catastrophe
take your pick
either way by the time it happens no one will have any idea and it will happen so quick by the time anyone realizes shits gone down hill it will be over
its Y2K all over again
btw i have been posting for 2 years now and you still havent figured out that my posts fall into one of the 3 catagories
stupid
really stupid
has a point but the thread is going nowhere
i dont want people to get the wrong ideas about me

Holy dog shit. Texas? Only steers and queers come from Texas. And you don't look much like a steer to me so that kinda narrows it down.
Support the Troops! (Except for Mondo, that guy's a dick)

Same thing happens when it RAINS in San Diego.
Boston --> San Diego
They laugh at us when we get a "heat wave". The jerk comes on the TV and has a special about heat stroke from 2 days in a row at 90 degrees. So lighten up on em.
I grew up in northern Maine and know what snow and ice can do.
Living here in Tennessee gave me a different perspective.
Lots of hills, mountains and uber-curvey roads.
NO SHOULDERS! You have a narrow asphalt road and then a 3 foot deep ditch.
No margin for an aw-shit moment.
No guardrails unless there is a serious cliff, you go off and either hit a tree or roll over.
Statistics aren't good for either one of those.
Add to that mix people who still tailgate and have no clue on the relationship between <32F and black ice and it is a royal charlie-foxtrot.
The snow falls on the road, melts and flash freezes into black ice.
Totally changed my perspective on things.
It is fuggin scary driving down here with even a dusting on the road.
It ain't me, it is the other friggen idiots that believe their 4wd conquers black ice and can stop on a dime.

If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride would do.
