Skateboard for boy

My 11 year old has ground the
cheap Walmart $8 skateboard so he needs a replacement.

He shows a modicum of talent and I would not mind getting him some better gear. I am thinking like $50

He is also very light like 60 pounds is current one I backed out the adjuster so it barely touched but if there was a specific thing for scrawny then that would be attractive

Any recommendations or place?

A few years back, I picked my son up a complete Blind board setup for about $75 at a local sport shop in Fairhaven, MA. (just happened to be out there, stopped in, and saw it)

I know when my brother used to skate you could usually pick up a store-brand deck with reasonable trucks for not much more than $50.

Back in the day I use to order from ccs. If you look for their closeout items you can get one in the $75 range. I use to ride bmx and skateboard all the time growing up. It definitely kept me out of falling into some bad habits i witnessed my friends falling into.

I used to shop there when I was in school down there. Good place with a great selection.

I also went to THEORY out in western MA a few times too. They have a couple of stores now, lots of quality decks to choose from.
