Need summer tires for my Saab

I have a 2005 9-3 Arc with the 2.0T. I want to put on some high performance summer tires now that my P6's are shot. I have winter rims and tires so all-season tires are not needed. Anyone know anybody that I could get a good deal from? I am also wondering if I can fit 225s on a 6.5" rim. The rims are 16 x 6.5. Tire recommendations are welcome too.

Yes you can fit a 225 on a 6" wide wheel you'll want to go 225/50R16 which will be a little smaller overall diameter than your original 215/55R16.

This will end up changing your speedometer a little example being at 64mph your speedometer will read 65mph

Your right I wrote the aspect ratio backwards
OEM: 215/55R16.
Wider: 225/50R16

Speedo calculations stay the same as before

awesome. I'm thinking of putting some 225/50/16s Falken Azenis on. Will the 225s bulge badly?

I got General Exclaim UHP from Town Fair Tire. I got them to price match to Tire Rack and they will beat the price by a little bit. I ended up getting my tires for less than 92 each and General had a $50 rebate. That was a few months ago but might check to see if they are still running the rebate. I've been more than happy with the tires. They seem to have awesome grip but then again I was coming from snow tires.

sumitomo htr z2 Awesome sticky tires, great in the rain and they are cheap

i heard the sumitomos are good tires but i would get the htr III and they don't make it in a 16. Now who knows of a shop that deals Falken with low prices?
