I have a samsung plasma s5033, which is about 5 years old, recently it started clicking when powering on and after about 20 clicks it would power on and no issues, last night it just wouldn't power on at all, this is a known defect with samsung tv (blown capacitor). I have taken back panel off to see if there are any blown capacitors as this is what the "internet" says to do and there aren't any .....any idea what I should do next......
My guess is the internal power supply needs to be replaced. I've never done it on a big TV but I have done it on an LCD Monitor. It did have obviously blown capacitors though.

Double check...the caps should be indented. If they are flat or swollen, change them...Same thing happened to mine last summer and I changed out all of them.....
my samsung lcd died. Had 2 boards inside, both could be found on ebay. Tried the cheap one first ($20) and that wasn't it. Sold that for what I paid for it and bought the more expensive one ($100) and that fixed it.

sounds like a high-voltage problem I would consider GNTurbo's advice
thanks for the advice, will look for a new power supply first and this TV also has 2 boards inside a $20 one and a $120 one, right know all options are cheaper than buying new TV.
