    Automotive A/V gurus...

Looking to hook up an external Sirius receiver to the OEM dash unit. Something stealth that doesnot use the front facing aux inlet.

crutchfield recommends 2 kits that add up to $200.

Looking for a cheaper solution if there is one.

Is the Aux input on the radio or another location? Example In my f250 the port is below the radio, mounted in the dash.

Sirius has a hard wire fm transmitter that goes inline with the antenna wire... I use it in my jeep and sounds exactly like the aux input in my mustang...

Is there a parts list for this?

I don't trust anyone I don't know to touch my stuff.

Do the install yourself. All GM trucks are the same. With the truck off and parking brake on, put the shifter into 1st (all the way down) and tilt your steering wheel down all the way. Next, grab the big dash piece and yank. After that I think it's just three screws holding the radio in.

Nah man that was only for the 95-06 pickups. The 07- are completely different. I've actually never worked on a newer one so not sure how it comes apart, but can't be too hard.

As for parts, to do what you want(no fm mod) unfortunately it's not going to be cheap. You either need an ~$80 aux input adapter on top of a Sirius universal tuner(assuming you don't have one yet) or a GM specific setup like you were likely looking at on Crutchfield.
