Does anyone know how this place is (sketchy/good to work with) in terms of buying bikes/cars from them?
They've lowballed me on a trade in for my 2004 GSX-R but have a seemingly decent price on this K7 750.

The wallet says no. The brain says upgrade. The credit score will probably say go f yourself. Assuming I can get a couple grand in a loan from a bank, what's the sentiment on making the trek from Portland, ME to Auburn, NH to scoop up this deal?
Also, the f'n lowering links would be removed pronto.

I bought plenty of bikes from there when Ryan worked there... not sure how it is now, shelleigh is great to work with (and cute).. (and my friends ex
)...
I would still give Hobbs Auto a Thumbs up.
Ryan went off on his own with 1023motors.com
As for the low ball. They are oout to make a profit so of course your trade isn't worth as much as if you sold it on your own.![]()

Shelleigh is the one I've been talking to about the 750. Just the spelling of her name intrigued me. Now, it may be worth the trip just to put a face to the name.
I understand the profit. I'm ok with that. I'd be more than happy to lose a couple hundred not to have to do any of the work with mine in terms of selling it privately. Yes, I'm lazy. But they were going real low.

I don't care who you're dealing with. If I felt someone was lowballing me, I'd walk...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I do not work for Hobbs anymore. While working there i always tried to be fair.

I got a great deal on a Hawk GT from Hobbs Auto. I think they are trying to get out of the motorcycle side of things. Ryan was the motorcycle side of the shop. Now I don't know who is running the show. I would talk with Shelly. She rocks there.
I would check out 1023motors.com Ryan will work with anyone. He is a great friend.
