Something weird is happening each time I visit a certain website...my husband laptop crashes EVERY time I go on there. And when I re-open it, it says the computer has recovered from a serious error. Here's a link to the last crash report: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/Response.asp?SID=1086

I am not a member and I do not log on to that site. Just the action to open the home page of the site makes the PC crashes everytime. Anyone have an idea of what it might be?

Nothing wrong for me... Then again I use Firefox. What browser are you using, I.E.? Also is this XP, NT, etc. Any service packs?

the link I posted is about the crash report or something. Not the actual website causing my PC to crash...actually, I just tried and went back on that website, it went ok. But most of the times, it will crash a few seconds after I'm on there. Oh well.

Wipe/Reload

Completely reload your entire operating system after formatting your hard drive. Will solve all software woes instantly. It looks like it is inevitable!

hmm....no. This computer works just fine apart from the fact that I cannot see most pics and that little problem about visting this website. The PC is wicked fast, and there is no other problems. It might be my husband who might have set up the PC so it cannot load most pics? I guess I'll have to ask him. Besides, it is not my computer, so I won't do anything of that sort. I was just asking to see if someone had an idea of what it might be...that's all.

what happens if you go to ad-aware.com?

Im confused though, does the homepage just go straight there everytime and then it dumps the pc?

I do have ad aware 6.0, but at this point, it doesn't make a difference. My PC got something in it that screwed it real good. I'm having a friend coming to my home in the next few days, to do a format on my PC. Enough wasting my time trying to install stuff to take care of this bullshit.
