Whats going on in NH

Ok this may be a repost ive been out of it for a few days. The new motorcycle laws/ regualtions have been discussed here. Last night and this morning I saw on the news they want to pass a law in NH that bars can only serve a person one drink per hour and a maximum of 4 drinks no matter how long the person is there. The reasoning behind this is totally logical, but clearly pub/ bar owners are up in arms over this as it will cut business. In this economy one thing people do is go out and drink and have fun, blowing off some stress. I just dont feel we should be putting restrictions like this on busniess owners.

Probably because so many of the people living in NH have recently moved here from Mass.

I don't see this passing. Too many people would be upset about it - patrons and businesses alike. It is rare that the two are in agreement, but a better solution is to increase traffic control outside bar hotspots, like downtown Portsmouth, Elm St in Manchester, and Main Street in Durham, for example. I also find it hard to enforce in Chinese restaurants, where one scorpion bowl could be considered enough liquor to cut off a table of 4, and we all know no one stops with one (or shares it).

I may not have been clear in my description. Ive been laid up and on painkillers all day. This is for anyone not motorcycles.

Wel it was all over the news the other night. INcluding all of the local news stations. So either Nh is trying to pull a fast one, or someone is looking to make NH look bad.
