The bike is now sold to Mr. Botto! Enjoy the bike man, I know I did.
I sure will![]()
Yes congrats on your new ride! Hopefully we'll get to ride soon. SV!![]()
I am picking up the helmet (and maybe pants) today, but definitely pants in the near future. I will set-up insurance and plates next week.
dude, let me know when you want to ride the FZ... I have been absolutely slammed and haven't done any pleasure riding yet this year. but pick a day next week and you can either come to my work and take it for a rip, or swing by after work or something. I work in Merrimack, NH.
Of course this ride comes with the "You break it, you fix it" clause.
I look forward to riding with many of you, but I WILL have to go at a very slow pace, with me preferably leading.
hurray, strikethrough!

Zing!
As long as I am riding with people whom I feel comfortable with and feel as though they will be attentive to the pace that I want to go at, otherwise I would rather be at the front FYI
my rear's a safe place to be. it's exceptionally well guarded, and nobody on this forum is welcome there.
jeff -- the rear is always the safest place to ride because it's the best place to moderate your pace. if you're riding with people you feel comfortable with, then they ought to respect your concerns and won't leave you in the dust. if you're riding with people who you don't feel comfortable with, then you sure as hell don't want them behind you, either pressuring you to go faster or trying to pass you on corner entry cuz they want to go ripping by...

Received the plates and registration today, now I am just waiting on some gear to be delivered![]()
Very good! Maybe we can do a short run Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing your new ride! The pix from schleppy look great
Is your profile pic the bike in your possession?
Hopefully I'll have a new bike in the next couple weeks.
Jeff: I'd offer you my gear to borrow, but I think you're half my size.
E-mail me and I'll dig it up.
