hmm, this is getting silly now. looks like i'll need to reg all three bikes even though only one will see MA SF actioni'm one of those 'buy in NH and never pay MA' guys. bummer.
from a Crow Hill connected guy:
Better be registered for the mx races, and j-day too.I hear the epo will be lookin and writin.I can't believe all you guys are more concerned about where to put the stickers than fighting this bill.
3 tracks in Ma ,Southwick,Middleboro and Crow Hill could be affected in a real bad way.Hare Scrambles,NETRA,J-Day.All you guys that rode at these events before, without worrying about being registered, and were doing the right thing,at events, ect ect,are now going to be paying a nice chunk for sales tax every time you get a new bike.Gone will be the day of a guy from mass buying a bike in NH and not needing to pay ma sales tax to go moto,or harescramble racing. And all you guys from NH,Conn,RI,Ver,you will be paying thru the hoop too.And the out of state guys can only reg every year, not for 2.
There will be less riders, and these tracks ,who are just paying the bills, often from their real jobs, wil no longer be able to operate. Then theres 20- 30 people out of work, per track.
Contact your local, state and federal Reps every day, keep calling and ask for an exclusion on organized races and practices.
Your sport is dieing folks.Do something about it.

got my stickers, WR is all set although it was a bummer shelling out ~$300
chick at the registry said 'it will be tough to find a spot on the bikes' ... 'some guys are leaving them in their pockets until they speak to an EPO on the trail'

Beware of the year decal on the reg. sticker. First wash mine peeled right off and I never use a pressure washer.
I cleaned the face of the big sticker with brake cleaner and put the year sticker back on with 3M77 and taped over it with Scotch tape.
thanks for the heads up.. . yeah, i'm not even sticking them on, had a feeling they would just get ripped by brush or blown away by washing. i pretty much always power wash.
my plan is to either thin-laminate or slide them in a clear sheath, then zip-tie to the upper fork legs so that i can 1. protect when in use and 2. remove for fork service.
