Not too sure how long they've been running it clockwize, but it had to have been a few years from what I'm told. It definitely feels a little different than it used to with the sections they changed/added, but there is not doubt that it is still Southwick.
I never saw Southwick as "'sand" per se', but it's the same as it always was. 100%. Always thought of it as soft loam. Like they say...'the track's change, but the dirt remains the same.'
By comparison to old, like anything else...it has it's pros, and cons. If you never rode the old, the new would not have any cons....
Seem to be an interest in Southwick, so I'll start up a new thread for it just in case others don't know it's here.

The track was awesome on Sunday and they did a little grooming both in the morning and right after practice. We rocked the place and everyone had a great time.
