yeah, we'll see how it goes but i should have just bit the bullet and shipped them out to Steve at PlusOnePerf. he knows the early Sachs OC really well... but man i was hoping to not drop $600+ for front only... i could buy a used set of KYB SSS for about that!

Hit up Southwick last Sunday with Tim, Tyler and a cast of characters. It was good, the day was really hot and there was no wind. At all. Had a bit of an issue with a light front-end giving me some head shake, but I think that was rider error and not getting on the gas enough.
On another note, does anyone know of any tracks or trails in or around the Stratton, VT area? I'll be out there in a few weeks for a long weekend and would love to take a bike up.
When I was at FC picking up my KTM stuff, I jokingly asked if I could take a set of 4CS forks home. The tech said, "You don't want them. We have to do a LOT to make them work". It sounds like they were replacing basically everything inside the tubes..!

Hell Ya, Great trails out there but the YZ took a beating.
Two dents in the pipe. One was so bad it bent the pipe into my coolant hose blocking the flow. Got a good deal on a Gnarly that should be here this week.
Big dent in the left rad even though I have BPD guards but managed to get that bent back into shape.
The worst part was near the end of the ride I tipped over in some rocks and landed on my tailbone. Wasn't too bad till later that night. Been nursing it ever since. I may take one more week off but itching to get back out there.
ah, mana decent bike 'n body beating ... Chris was having some $300/day rides for a while there too. hahaa. i shouldn't laugh, now i'm fucked.
hope the tailbone heals quick. think we're headed out to Oct Mtn on Sat. that's the current plan at least. if we stay east i will post up. pumped you're diggin' HVD!

Oct Mtn looks killah!
I have to get out there this Summer
Too many toys, not enough time.
Some of the trails at october mt are downright silly.

Anyone interested in doing some laps at clough this weekend?
It's about 20-30 min from the track. To ride it you really do want to have a NH sticker. It is occasionally patrolled.
Can be hard to do on Sunday.
The pharmacy/Grocery store in Coontocook has them. Its about 5-10 minutes from the trail head
The older I get the Faster I wuz
It appears i burned through my outboard rear pad at the classic. Ive clearly got a caliper function issue as the inboard pad looks new still.
i guess Oct Mtn is being pushed out a few wks, HVD it is for Sat. prob arrive at ~9-930.
would love to ride Clough soon but can't do Sun.

Hit Hop-Eve today. Ran the newly reversed Stark loop trail, which they were doing some grading on the last section of that trail. Hit the Sugar loop trail and what I believe was part the hang glider hill section. It was my second time there and it was a blast! I fell a half of dozen times and still managed to leave with a big smile!
Paul there is always Freedom cycles in Concord. They're open Saturday and it is kinda on the way to Clough.

I liked Stark way better the other way. The sand whoops with the giant berm at the end down the hill into the woods. The flowy woods section at the end. And going the long way round the rock after the long bridge. All of these features feel less run wrong-way-round.
But I'm sure I'll get over it.
