A tank is usually enough but having a little extra is not a bad thing.

Bring a camelback. We do stop a few times at the trucks but youll be most thristy when you get stuck on a hill when we are in the middle.

I have all simple tools in a pouch that goes with me for trailside repairs

I get stuck at least once a ride. Either by my own fault or by someone falling on a hill in front of me. Key to hill climbing on a small 2 stroke is dont stop 1/2 way. Get a good run and keep the rpms up.

Had a few last ride too without you there which did in my pipe. Shit happens. I think its best to give the person in front of you a little more time before charging the hill

Carlton: I def. know how you felt, afterwards. I went home, sluggish, slow, not wanting to unload the bike and return the truck, then just passed out until the next day. What a workout! I hope you're feeling better today, and hopefully we can get you more saddle time next time
