Has acerbis guards and a nice skid plate, along with a case saver and a very minimal rear plate/light setup. It's going to be getting some better tires soon. I'm at the point of either trying to get the weight down to make things a bit easier on me off road, as that's going to be its use. I know money into the suspension will help greatly, but she's still a bit of a pig.
Mighr get a rear brake gaurd too i just did.
Thought about those, but now we're adding weight, lol.
Bark busters and skid plate bro. Enter the woods around here without either and regret it later. Probably on the first ride...
Plus they are light as ****
Oh, radiator braces/guards. Must have.

Case savers for some applications too (like my DRZ)
Has a case saver and radiator protection. I'm more looking to lighten it up at this point. I'm thinking exhaust and handlebars to start. Not sure where to go after that.
aldend123 already laid it out pretty much... lithium battery, aftermarket exhaust, plastic skid plate. not sure where else you could trim weight in large'ish amounts. smaller fuel tank? hubs and wheels maybe, but why waste the money? titanium bolt kit? (el oh el)

ohhh...how about LED turn signal bark busters??

If I take my blinkers and rear plate mount off, the connectors not going to anything aren't going to short anything out or cause any issues are they?
Wrap in tape or something. Not because of a risk of shorts, but because you don't want any dirt or mud in those connectors.
Here in New England we have these things called trees. Actually, they're the main reason why BARK BUSTERS were invented to begin with. Why anyone would strap their blinkers to something that's GOING to smash into trees is beyond me. Unless you owned a dual sport in the desert.

The front turn signals are the one thing on my dirt bikes that I haven't broken yet.
Meanwhile I have pretty well maimed a set of hand-guards.

While waiting for parts I decided to get the KTM cleaned up and check things out. Seems the top two bolts holding the subframe on have been tightened a bit too much, cause there's a crack on each side. Not sure if I should get it welded or just ride it and keep an eye on it?
Pics?
All those gen ktm sub frames did that. There's a bung inside.
I wouldn't worry about it, my motard was the same way.

Just checking, thanks!
So, my fmf "Q" silencer came in. I pointed out the fact it has two mounting tabs at the dealer where the other silencer only has one. They said that it should fit as it was listed for the bike. Get it home and guess who was right... The closest mounting tab is about an inch too far from being able to bolt up. Fu€k. And it's an inch off to the back, if the pipe and silencer are touching, so there's no bringing it forward. Even moved the pipe a little, no luck. So it looks like there's no silencer that has a spark arrestor for the bike, rendering this thing pretty useless to me at this point. Any suggestions? Before we go the "just run it, who cares?" route, I won't be doing that. If it isn't legal or I can be fined for it there's no point in me having it.
