Renee and I will be hitting up some easy terrain on Saturday, June 14th.
Anyone with a KLR650 type bike or smaller would be just fine.
We'll probably start around 11AM and go to 2PM or so. Any and all are welcome.
Starting point is Springfield, MA... Post up if anyone is interested.
Remember... super easy stuff. However, we'll probably have a few optional "hero" sections if anyone else comes that wants them. Just to keep things interesting.

Kermita and Ken... we have no problem starting later.
Actually, Kim, this would probably be great stuff for you...
We're flexible, so feel free to post times you could get to Springfield... and the latest time wins.![]()
Tony, I'll call you sometime in the morning between exercises.
Damn... Now I gotta buy a dual sport...
LRRS/CCS Amateur #514 / RSP Racing / Woodcraft / MTAG Pirelli / Dyno Solutions / Tony's Track Days / Sport Bike Track Gear / 434racer / Brunetto T-Shirts / Knox / GMD Computrack
Mine's too big.![]()

Certainly not too big for today's ride.
So it sounds like more of a 1PM or so start time should work better. If anyone needs directions or my phone number, email or PM me.
If Ken is going to be even later, those of us that are here can do a couple of the closer loops and come back to get Ken... then we'll all head out to the
further loop.
Should be fun!
Ken decided against coming too, so if you can't get here until after 2, it might not be worth it?
We can choose another day... and will actually plan it.
We're good next weekend... Sat or Sun. You have a preference?
What would you say your dirt riding level is at now? Have you been practicing much?
We've got wx moving in...
Maybe next time.

I've got no preference as to a day next weekend. Either will work for me as long as I know a couple of days beforehand.
My dirt riding level is still novice for sure. I feel good about dealing with most anything out there that a stock XT is capable of doing. The Advanced MSF Dirt course I took a couple of weeks ago was a great intro to the obstacles found on dirt roads and trails and how to properly deal with them. By the end of the course I had done things (riding over rocks and logs) that I didn't think I'd be able to do when I got there in the morning. That and the confidence that the bike can move all over the place but as long as you've got it pointed in the right direction, you'll go in that direction. I was AMAZED at how much the bike bounced around but at the same time felt so solid.

That sound great, Kim.
And your bike can handle just about anything you'd find out there on the trails.
My guess is that we'll shoot for Sunday next week... but we should keep an eye on the weather. If it looks like Saturday will be better, then we can switch it.
I'll start a new thread to see if anyone else is interested. 5 or 6 bikes is a nice sized group.![]()
