So Seth's telling me he's probably going to do the Winchester Speedpark SX this Saturday night. Anyone else interested? I'm on the fence but leaning towards 'rocking it'
I've never done a dirtybike race so guess we'll see how it goes.

I need some new tyres. Who's got the good deal?
Boston --> San Diego
hmm good question, not sure who's got good deals lately. A guy told me of a place in CA that sells dunlops for cost but I forgot the name ofcourse.

Is this SX or MX?

The link wasnt working at first but now it does. It's SX.
You're first race ever and you're going to make it SX? You're nuts.
wow, picture is giant but it looks like fun. i'm guessing the numbers indicate the height of the jumps?
LRRS EX #165 (formerly)
ya the numbers should represent the heights, but I haven't seen the track this year so I'm not positive its like that or what. Its not like pro sx, the jumps are tamed down compared to that but still jumpy and fun.

MX #505
I went to watch the 2008 race. The SX track isn't like you see on AMA Pro Racing. It's SX-style but not super insane. Jumps are actually one of my stronger points (IMO) when it comes to motocross riding. When I lived in California the track I mainly rode was a outdoor-SX track and also Mototown was a favourite and that was SX as well.
I'm slightly apprehensive but I can hold my own. Shooting for a Top 10 finish in 30+ C (Novice) and not being a total spode.

Word. Talked to Jeff a little bit ago. Said this is actually easier for your 'first race' than a full on MX track. Motos are shorter and the track isn't that hard. Think he's gonna come by to watch/wrench.
Boston --> San Diego
why doesn't he race?

I may ride out there to spectate as well. Going to depend on a few things that won't fall together until probably Sunday morning, but I'd like to go.
