Winchester sx race report-sept

So I headed to race winchester night sx race last saturday along with a13x, then went home and packed til 2am and left for FL on sunday morning for work...that sucked but finally back in town.

Got situated saturday and headed out for practice with the 250s. Luckily they split it up into 2 sessions and we were like 2nd/3rd bike out for practice so I was able to air out all the obstacles and such right off the bat. I haven't raced mx all year and totally forgot how quick practice is, you literally go out for like a few laps. Should have relayed that to Alex but I totally forgot and was in the mindframe of loudon which provides way more practice.

30+ heat- Holeshot this race and a few laps in I stalled locking up my rear into a corner. I was a straight ahead of 2nd place and he just went by me as I started my bike back up, ended up 2nd

LitesC heat- Kinda got holeshot or was 2nd off the start and got into the lead. As the first lap came to a close I got taken out by 2nd place in a berm and picked up my upside down bike in last then only passed a few people, sucked.

LitesC LCQ- I went and looked on the sheet and found there was an LCQ to get into the main still, sweet! Got out front somewhere on the first lap and won rather easily.

30+ Main- Crappy start, was in 5th/6th on first lap. Saw the guy who won the heat race get into the lead and thought CRAP! Anyway the final was 7 laps and I was able to get upto 2nd by lap 4 and then put pressure on the leader and he bobbled out of a rut so I took over the lead on lap 5 or so, then went on for the win.

Lites C Main- Got a crappy start, forgot what place but I was already beat since there was only a race or 2 between my two finals. I was beat and let off in whoops/bobbled abunch too. Ended up getting up to 3rd and then got hit in same place as before (apparently by same dude) and then stalled in the next corner trying to chase him down as I was pissed. Was able to get started and remain in 4th where I finished.

Had a lot of fun overall and maybe a13x/danny86 can write reports as well

aha thanks, problem is I need to race more. I think I have 6 or 8 promotional points after that and need 30 to move to AM.

aha, ya but since I moved up way back in the day I never raced enough to get points to move up. I was B rider on 80s, then moved upto 125s and went back to C. Then broke leg/stopped racing/rode mtbs instead/had relations with Jims mom/etc

Practice - drove into the fence after over shooting a jump
first race - forgot to turn the gas back on becuase I was so concentrated on trying to survive the track
2nd race - actually kept pace with the fat guy who came in last

$150.00 and rode for 12 minutes
