We are attempting to organize a big group of us for one or both of these dates.
July 4th (Sunday) is the North Course. July 5th (Monday) is the 66 course.
(maps of courses are here)
Now, I know the term 'US' has been kind of fragmented as of late, but this truly is an invite out to all.
And just to clarify the arrangement - this is a Team Promtion date that we (TTD) are reselling spots for. TTD will not be running anything and hopefully I get to just ride and hang out.
Anyway, the point of this post is to gauge interest and get some feedback on which day(s) work better. Unfortunately, there is limited facilities at Monticello so I don't even know if we can hang out overnight, BBQ, camp out, etc.... (will check on that and get back)
Also... is Monday a holiday for most people since July 4th is a Sunday?
I really want to try the 66 course, but I did the North course last month and it was fun too.
i'm really excited for this event. As soon as I saw it on my TPM schedule I thought, "yup, thats a definite."![]()
You all have to try it.

Really really want to attend. How much for both days?
Let see if I can get my trailer set-up soon enough for the event.....at least riding to Monti is not as bad as riding to Loudon from Albany.
You guys know a good cheap place to stay around that area?

Right now, no discount for both dates - so $225 per day is the price.
I think they're all pretty cheap hotels around there.
Complete list of hotels, etc.

Just a friendly tip for anyone heading out for this event...
There's a bunch of construction on 17E just an exit or two away from the track. It goes down to one lane and causes a pretty serious backup with any volume. You don't hit it heading West, but will definitely get stuck headed back East... Especially on July 5th (assuming the construction will not be done by then). Avoiding it is easy, though. Old Rte 17 Pretty much parallels 17E and you can basically get it right in Monticello. You want to get past exit 119 where the construction ends, If I remember correctly, but have the option of taking backroads all the way to Middletown and skipping 17 all together.
Thanks for the heads up, Mike.
Pretty sure I'm gonna go to this event. Just need to figure out where I'm staying (hopefully for free
) the night of the 4th.

Still can squeeze a few peeps in if interested. Keep in mind that the open spots were only guaranteed until yesterday. I think I can still get people in, but maybe not as many as is showing on the page below.
Here's the current list of forum peeps going...

Remember, this is basically a Team Promotion date. We just happen to have a lot of the staff and riders going.
WOW! That was fun.![]()
You got that right!
oh yeah!
unfortunately lost 3 sessions due to overheating, but still had a blast on the new track bike. nice meeting some of you again.

Overheating? You or the bike
Tim's bike was overheating and it seemed like it might be a loose hose clamp or something. Alex's bike was overheating too but that's probably just because it is British.
Luckily the SV was fine but probably because I don't hit the throttle enough.
Yeah... that was stupid fun.
