I've had my 06' R6 doing 140 in about 8 seconds. I'll guarantee I can do 140 on Loudon's straight in the dry.
. . . keep digging

whew... I was slightly afraid my post may have killed the potential of this thread. Glad to see that wasn't the case.
Another small bit of advice though, the last thing you want to be worried about at the end of the straight is your speedo. Just put some tape over it and forget you even have one.

When does the factory bike and support team arrive?

What a pansy. I rode in 7th gear flat out in the snow with slicks when I did penguin.
Why does this come around at the end of the racing season?
I was going to say something helpful like "your R6 isn't spinning in 5th or 6th with stock gearing" buuuuuuuuuut....

I assume one of the regular NESR pranksters created this account to stir people up, right? This cannot be a real person's responses.

I'm waiting for Godwin's Law to be proven true. Wait for it.........
Brian, were you on the R6 in the light blue Vanson suit?

Looks like we have finally found someone who uses all that power!
Yes this kids' for real. He was wearing my spare blue/white vanson suit.
I know the roads he's referring to, it's possible (not adviseable) to do 150 on this straight. Alden rd, going into Myles standish state forest in Plymouth. I especially advise against doing this, because it's in my first due area, and I don't wanna scrape anybody up when they bin it trying to avoid hitting a turkey or something.
Brian, I really hope you can back this up with wins next season. Because I guarantee one of these pricks will bump this after the first weekend.

Yeah, I know dude! I went from a guy who was gonna race to get some track time to the dude who can do 1:10's while doing push-ups and fixing my hair... I've ripped the state forest loop pretty fast, 150 on the long straight a couple of times when I was feeling invincible. I've also done over 150 on the 44/3 connector. Definitely not smart, and part of the reason I knew I needed to hit the track. I do get a kick out of some of these guys reactions. Most of what I've said is all true, not even trying to brag, but the reactions either mean I'm coming across completely the wrong way because I don't think I've really posted anything that's worth bragging about, or these dudes really don't know how to ride? I play into it not because I'm that gullible, but partly because it's hillarious, and partly because it pisses me off that there are people who think someone trying to get into racing from the street are going to finish dead last. Also, To the Penguin Instructors: I'm not talking shit in any way shap or form about you guys. You guys all rocked, and I know you'd kick my ass around the track!

How fast were you going in T3....and I assume this is in the rain
Look at most of these cats' sigs though. Lrrs am/ex#yaddayadda.
But let's just say, for arguments sake, that 150 down any straight road, or highway means nothing. You just might get dubbed "plymouth's fastest" because it'll amuse everyone that's been watching this, and talking smack on this board for at least this summer. In the end, next April, it'll all come out in the wash. Racing is racing, and all that matters is who wins. Thanks for entertaining us.
Realistically, you cannot expect to jump out there and turn 1:19's on your first weekend.

Calibrated speedometer? I'd be surprised if you would reach a true 140 on the straight yet.
