Yeah I definitely want to get to know the bike first before I take it racing. I know it is old and slow and heavy compared to the new stuff. But then again riding skill can beat someone right? I know once I go I'll want to race as it always happened motocrossin back in the day. Can't keep my wrist from wanting to turn just a little more when someone gets behind me lol. Thanks for all the info guys very cool. Much appreciated. Oh and yes I have heard of the Service Honda AF500. THat's always been one of my dream bike. THat and a RZ 350 kenny roberts edition.
Ride On,

I did the Penguin RR course last year and got a lot out of it.
But honestly, I felt a lot more comfortable and went a lot faster after taking the Total Control ARC course. Took I last year and II this year. So I'd suggest those course first, then Penguin or a Track Day.
There is a big difference is in the level of prep required on your bike for Penguin racing or a track day. I rented a Ducati for the Penguin course.
