you probably saw my thread from before, about not getting bike to start. Solved that problem, but a new one has risen. Gauge cluster not working, the only thing that shows on it is the high beam light. So obviously it is getting power. Gauge was working with the prior issue but crapped out. checked all connections, everything was tight. Anyone have this issue before??? Any ideas/suggestions what it may be??
what kit said but also check this cause my 01 had a harness issue also.....go to the upper right side and follow the harness twoards the head light and there is a socket where the front loom meets. Push and play with that and see if they flicker. The wires on mine were pulling out just a bit and the head light and cluster power would cut in and out. Prob from too many whoolies and the stress....

i am going to head to leo's this weekend and try his cluster, the fricking problem was the pc wire that taps into power source came out, couldnt see it cause it was dark out....stupid. cluster was working when bike wouldnt start....possible to have blown something, in cluster???....i looked at schematics and cant see anything...![]()
Headlight/tail light fuse takes out the gauge cluster as well... Just a thought.

thanks all fuses checked....
used the radioshack version crimp.....
Where are you in NH? If you're close enough, I can make some time to stop by and wiggle some wires this weekend. You could have crimped over the wire insulation rather than the wire itself.
im in nashua, wire all hooked up last season, everything was fine, just the connection between female/male coupler came apart. But if you still wanna help me figure out the gauge your more then welcome to. thanks
