I was just musing on how much power is being made in small light bikes now, when I suddenly had an epiphany. According to the specs this bike will weigh less than my 95 zx6r, but literrally makes twice the hp. That is absolutely mind boggling to me.

I'm inclined to say he's got snacks in the backpack but anyone's guess is just as good.

im kind of likeing that white 1199s.....but i dont know if its worth giving up my white 1198s
It's all good brutha. Jimbo is just jealous
I love the white 1198S's! Was looking into a used one about a month ago online. Can't pass up on the 1199 though. Wait until it comes out, then make an educated decision would be my recommendation. I'm just too eager to wait. and anything will be a step up power wise from my EVO.
I'm going to stop by Riverside on monday and see if they'll take my evo sp in trade for a deposit on the 1199, or at the least maybe take my bike on consignment. It'll kill two birds with one stone since I have no place to store the bike this season lol

Just watched the video... they mention wet clutch at the end
Not saying dry is better, but it used to be a Ducati design element, just like the trellis frame and 90 degree twin. Wet clutches have been used more on recent Ducatis. Now that it's on the flagship model, sounds like the dry clutch has died.
Yea when I heard it was going to be a wet clutch I was, I like annoying people at redlights with my dry clutch chattering away
Was looking fwrd to the clatter of the dry clutch myself but I have no objections with my wet clutch on my EVO so it is what it is. I would think you'll be able to swap it out anyway if that's really your preference.
wet clutch to dry clutch? hows it possible? you might hv to change/modify that part of engine block. I dont think its straightforward.
