A friend of mine had an order on a Ducati 1199 Panigale which he canceled. He decided to get an MV Agusta F3 instead. We all saw and sat on the F3 at the show at Jacob Javitz in NY. We were at Cycles 128's Open House about a week ago (as someone said, they are the only MV dealer around...next closest is in New Jersey). He was told that 2012 production (less than 200 [I think] bikes were being imported into the U.S.) was already sold out and that they wouldn't accept his deposit. He called every dealer in the U.S. and found 1 F3 available from a new MV dealer in VA and he placed his order. His bike is scheduled to arrive in June (not sure if it is a 2012 or 2013...he was talking about both model years). It's a great bike for the money (MSRP $13,495) and if I wasn't getting a Panigale I would have opted for an F3.
2014 Ducati 899 Panigale
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale - lemon- repurchased by Ducati
2002 Ducati 998S Bostrom - sold
Im a MV fan. Buy it, you'll be a fan too, no doubt.
they said it, 675 is smooth and silky..... luv it
Mv must have to sell 200 bikes in the us to race in a particular series. That's dirt cheap.
Edit: O.K. So a few minutes of Google told me the 200 units thing mentioned earlier was a limited edition with Ohlins, etc.
The general one has the lower price tag.
Still amazing look and presumably great handling, power, etc.
I would consider a Duc. 1098 or 1198.

I'd rather see an MV F3 vs Duc 848 Evo comparison.
