about what their worth but I thought the suzi may have reached 6 grand as it was very clean.
The surprise for me was the 1968 tiger 650 that fetched 4800 as the thing was a pretty worn out bike with wrong tank and no compression I figured 3 grand tops but two guys were after it and thats all it takes
The big bargains of the day were the 3 forklifts which went for 2200 , 1300 and 300 bux really cheap, and the very last item to be auctioned off was the 63 ford thunderbird convertible which fetched 13500 and in a good economy was worth 30grand and I believe it's heading to Aussie land as the lad who bought it had loads of room in his container as he only bought 5 bikes..
A great day out and beats raking leaves but no real deals to be had but it 's all for a good cause all around as Dick Bettencourt is a good man facing some real hardship.
Funny thing as We were loading the GS suzuki we bought I almost sold it for 400 bux but the guy who wanted it had his missus screaming at him about all the bikes in bits in the house and no more bikes or he could walk home, pretty funny
Out of all the bikes there the RE5 had me most intreigued.

As well as the VF1000R. If I did not have 6 bikes already I would have owned that one. Went for $4800. What a steal.

I think they were in the 4500-5000 Range. Mint condition.

Bob Stone stole a CHERRY GL Goldwing for with 7100 miles for $3200. I helped him being it home.

I have no Idea how Jerry does it. Nonstop from 11-5 or so auctioning off everything w/out a brake. I don’t think I could even do it for 10 min.

Yeah, I agree with NT650 - he went through the whole thing non stop. What a day...

Did anyone pay attention to the RD prices, he had 2 or 3 rd200's and I missed what they went for. I know the rd400 went for 1600.

I wish there was an NESR corner there or something - seems there were a lot of us there but I don't know what anyone looks like!!

One RD 350 went for $300 and it was in GOOD condition. Broken brake lever and that was all this I saw.

    Re: Auction for Bettencourt

J.Wood and Company always posts the prices on the website jwoodandcompany.com - Most Auction Companies will not do this, but Jerry does and his Auctions have set the national and international pricing for many classic motorcycles based on these public postings.

So yea. Keep your eyes peeled to jwoodandcompany.com and you should see all the pricing up there at some point.

    I got a 1962 Schwinn American King Size for $50. w00t.

This is the one I got:

Got a little antsy towards the end, didn't realize it had the performance ventilated pistons. At least I have an excuse to go up a few sizes. Forgot how easy 2 strokes are to work on.

Owner of Planet Fitness got both of them as I recall along with the Doug Henry 2006 Southwick bike and a old CZ. I thought the CR's went for more like high 2's low 3's but after two Auctions within 4 days and over 1000 lots between the two I have so many #'s in my head it's all confusing...

    Great scores VTRumble and zombie!
