Normally I'd be right there with you guys, I have been through a LOT of bikes in the past two years. Right now I'm happy with my ZX-9 and my dirt bike. I like my G/F's Katana for what it is (which is nice since I'll be finishing out the yer on it: MAss insurance is no bargain either!). I might get an old sportster next spring 'cuz my buddy is supposed to be selling it to me for cheep $$, and someday I still want a VFR, but I just don't have the overwhelming desire for a new bike that I have had, although I wouldn't mind another SV650, and the SV1k is nice too. Triuph RS and Aprillia Falco are nice....
Bikes are like women: there are a thousand out there that you might want, but you'r lucky if you have one or two really good ones that take care of you and excite you.

Ah yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. OK, so I admit even I am not smitten with the styling of my RS (and I REALLY think the ST version looks dated, to say the least.)
However, just like the girl you dated (or married!) that wasn't a "10", the beauty of the personality inside far outstrips any other shortcomings. Maturity is being able to see that, and accepting, loving, the whole package.
As a plus, Triumphs tend to be WAY cheaper to insure than a Japanese bike of the same ilk. And that, I am smitten about.![]()

These are motorcycles, not women. Be as superficial as you like!Originally posted by SprintPoser

Yes, true maybe. But if one is not attracted to the physical attributes to begin with, one may not take the time to look at the 'personality inside'...Ah yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Believe me, Ken. Insurance premiums aren't an issue up here...As a plus, Triumphs tend to be WAY cheaper to insure than a Japanese bike of the same ilk. And that, I am smitten about.![]()
