The first reading of the xray agreed with the paramedic. Not broken.
Its swollen to about twice the size of the left one and Im on crutches at the moment.
The current diagnosis is smushed.
Im glad I stayed. The wet session was educational and that last dry session was my best of the weekend despite not being able to move around on the bike at all.
Im also glad I skipped the last couple sessions. It got worse as the day went and riding home would have been miserable.
Besides, my wife was mad enough that I rode for that long.
she just doesnt get it
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

She does and she doesn't.
She's got competing concerns.
Hey reks95, pls shoot me another text. Phone crapped out on me and I lost your number and our texts. Thanks!!!
For the interested parties, I finally got a second opinion.
The valves are in spec.
One of the cylinders is low on compression.
The leak down test indicated an issue with the exhaust valve.
I haven't decided what to do yet, but it will either be sell the bike (or parts) or take the crowdsourced advice and get an ebay motor.
Could use a borescope to try and visually inspect inside. If it were me, I'd probably skip to dropping the engine asap, and take the head off. Sounds like it could just need a new valve and maybe some minor headwork. If so, that's not too expensive. If you're at the point of selling it as a parts bike or buying an ebay motor, you might as well do that first. It's a good winter project, and a good way for you to get some new skills.

Replace it and upgrade while you're at it: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...abs-86985.html![]()
A replacement for sure, but I prefer the Street over the Speed
Honestly, I don't know what I'd even replace it with.
