I named my XT Jenny (or rather Jennnnnaayy) because I feel like Forrest Gump while riding it sometimes. I refer to my bikes by their given name or their purpose though (the dirt bike, the XT, the Yamaha, or the street bike, the Triumph, the Sprint, etc)
'06 Triumph Sprint ST ABS
'90 Yamaha XT350
My Ninja is named Nunzio
My daughter named my race bike Daisy...just like her bike, her pillow, her blanket, her doll, etc...
to me it looks more like a Blanche or Mabel, old and tired..
I've been told "that big amazonian bitch" has a good ring to it.
About half of the bikes I've owned have wound up with names.
'82 GS1000S Katana was the Mindbender.
'86 VF1000R was the Sledgehammer.
'03 SV1000S is, of course, Coppah.
Go fast. Have fun. Repeat.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I should add to that post - "unless there's some creativity behind it or the bike somehow earned it". Too many people give their bikes crappy names just for the sake of giving it a name
But Gino's bike, for example (and I'm not just saying this because he's my teammate), is one of those bikes where at first I thought to myself -"Really, Gino? You named your bike Henry?" But after hearing the story behind it, it made more sense... 1 - cuz the name actually fits and 2 - cuz he's had it for so long and has put so much work, effort, blood, sweat & tears into it that it's more than "just a bike".

Bump for cold weather!
My SV is "the SV" but my old Ninja250 used to be "Scootypuff" because it sounded like the scootypuff in that episode of Futurama.

I just call mine The TLS. The only other bike I ever had a nickname for was my Z1000, and that was called The Zed.
