Luckily, and thanks to Ritchie, I won a certificate for a Boston Moto track day. So we'll see how addicted I get.

Oh man... I forgot you won that... BoMo is the BEST! I did my first track day Sept. 30th and it was all I could think about for weeks...well, I'm still thinking about it.... I agree to spend as little as possible on bike #1. I just started riding this season...started out on a 600 Katana...bought for cheap, rode the crap out of it then dumped it in the rain...and am now on bike #2. I would love an SV for the track.... but get something you dont mind dropping a couple of times at first BTW so nice to meet ya this past weekend! It wouldn't be a bad idea to go talk to Sheppo...he's in Billerica (Billerica Powersports) and I would trust his advice on any bike.... Have someone go with you to look at a bike too, I bought mine in the dark without riding it first and had to wrench on it day #1.....

OH... I bought both the Katana and the R6 off CL.... Took a buddy to see the R6, it was the first bike I looked at 2 days after my get off, was told not to buy it, and promptly did, and havn't regretted the decision at all... my Yammy

Yea, I'm just trying to find a good deal so I'm keeping my eyes open. I'm not in too much of a rush.

I forgot about going to the local shops, I might just do that tomorrow.

Dang, you'da dug my Suzuki Bandit 1200S I gave back to the dealer on the trade for the 2009 Concours14 I have now. I tried to sell it here for about 3,000, but no one was buyin' then. New tires, tuneup, taller GIVI screen, buncha goodies to go with it. Wouldn't recommend such a big feisty bike for a beginner, but a good deal compared to this 650 in the ad.

Speakin of the C-14, I'm jumpin on and goin' fer chowdah. Good luck searchin'!
