I had a photo of a blue 07 600RR as my desktop background way back when

If I ever get another sportbike as a track beater, it’s going to be a 07-08 600RR, or a 03-05 R6. No other modern 600 really appeals to me.

thats kind of high for an rz but not by much. they go for 9 or 10k for really, really nice ones. The older rd version is still semi cheap and i would consider a bargain compared to these.

I’m not surprised, but curious what the possible selling price will be.
The Yamaha Banshee quad, with the RZ based motor, are selling in the $8k range. Pretty sure I paid just under $6k for one brand new in 2002.

Yeah, banshees are hitting the big numbers now. It's the legendary reputation of the bikes that fuel it. Quadzillas are creeping up too but they lack the aftermarket support to restore them to new. Banshees don't have that problem.

Bummer. Think they were 8300 last production year. If I could get one for 7xxx or less that would be nice.

Problem is there’s none around here and if so, they’re probably beat, since we have legit winters.

My neighbor is a collector. He has 3 or 4. Never rides them really, they just sit.
You need to go south for cheaper ones. Think Carolinas
