Looks like a decent bike at a pre-pandemic price. Let's see how long it lasts. Decent bikes at reasonable prices seem to get snapped up pretty fast.

I had a 2012 and I was a little disappointed riding it after readying all the amazing reviews. It has a nice even power delivery, but didn’t blow my skirt up.

Also, the rider seat pitches you forward more than I expected on a “naked bike”. It’s definitely a sport bike. Not nearly as comfy as the scrambler.

But still, I would buy a 05-10.

I had a 2008 Tiger 1050 which is the same engine detuned. It was a fantastic all-round bike, I got it instead of the Speedy for practicality purposes, but the 05-10 Speedies have been a dream bike for me since 2005. Perfect looks (to me) and a fun ride. Would definitely just be a once in a while toy if I got one.

While his wording is poor those zx7s had a relay box that was iffy at best, now 30 years later it's a real issue with them.

That is weird, but almost looks like it’s just wired up there? If the case isnt smashed might make for a cheapish project..

I don't think it's wired there I think it just kinda contorted there because it has no grease. Looks like the sprocket cover is still there though so that's maybe a plus
