How’s aprilias 1200 shit on Triumphs 1200 so easily?
I need to buy that
Edit:at least the YouTube vids of that GPR exhaust sound horrible. Termi Monster 1100 it is not

Holy shit, really? For a 17 year old bike?
I've always said the "modern" era bikes (basically 2004+) would hold value until the superbike started to look different. I feel like we hit the next wave in like 2018+ with hollow tail fins, TC, adjustable suspension, and ABS being the norm. Maybe my view was wrong.
Basically, everyone wants and will pay for a bike that looks like it could have rolled off the showroom yesterday. From 2004-2018 that was more or less the case. In my mind, that has changed.
Maybe my viewpoint is just wrong.

It’s like… you might be surprised… but if $3,000 for a 17yo race replica seems surprising, what would my favorite bike, a 2002 zx-9r run me?
If an R6 is $3,000, 17yo, that what’s a 20yo cbr600f4i worth? Under 3?
Then when you think about the Japanese reliable technology, in the package… proven engine, sporting package, street legal components… what’s that really worth to you?

To me, an F4i is almost worthless compared to r6. But a first gen 2003 CBR600 is worth just as much as an r6. Its the single seat on the f4i that makes it not look like a modern sport bike that kills value.
My view could be way off from market, but the way I have thought about it is that everyone wants their bike to look cool, and the f4i just doesn't by comparison.

Wonder if this is the one that was apart a few weeks ago ?

Speedwerks build, doesn't have the OEM front forks, been converted to 2nd gen R6 it appears. Looks like a regular 3TJ, not an RR SP so no quickchange front and rear OEM, curious if it's got flatslides or CV cabs under the tank? The bike absolutely has a VIN too FYI, it'll either be a 17 digit or 7 digit depending on exact model and if it's from the UK or Japan.
Well here's the follow-up in his recent update:
Yamaha R6
Has 12k miles runs drives shifts great. Tires are like new does not leak oil or anything.
Brakes work fine no noises Just installed a new battery Bike is in good shape
Has a salvage rebuildable title haven’t had time to get it registered
Will entertain a reasonable offer that’s why it’s 2500.00 and not a lot more
HEY, it's got Marchesinininis, that's enough....
Someone’s asking for the vin to my car for sale so they can run a car fax…
No harm in giving out a vin right?
People could get everyone’s vins from their windshield if so…

Local dualsport with some good mods for a decent price.

Realy cool bike. Nice mods 489 motor was a nice bump. looks like a zx6 fork, 1990 swingarm painted, be super cool to race that.. I raced a 90 for a few years with some success, great sweet handling machine, 14000 rpm, price is fair at today's mkt.
Edit: from the looks of the brake caliper the forks are off a Yamaha which makes it cooler.
