Just browsing thru threads it almost never fails that within the first page or two someone starts a thread about a new bike. So I thought I would start a thread and see the bikes that ppl have gone thru. If you can remember (since some have been riding for 10+ years) list your first til your current bike and how long you had them.

Here is my lil list:

1993 Suzuki Katana 750 - Bought her with unknown amount of miles (odo said 28k) as a first bike for $1900. Rode her for a season, probably 2k mi, went to fire her up early this summer, rode her twice, engine blew. Sold her for $400 in non-working condition

2007 SV650S - Just bought it, first brand new bike, and I'm loving it so far except for the whole break-in thing (I don't care about hard break-in. I'm doing it manufacturer's spec because it'll give me peace of mind). Almost done with that though, 639mi out of 1000mi, with a soft-redline of 7500 and throttle up to but not exceeding 80%.

71-73, Rupp roaster 2 with BW carb clocked 65 mph

73-76, 64 vespa lots of fun sold for 3x what i paid for it.
75-76, dont remember what year honda 70 mini sold for more then I paid for it.
75-77, suk 150 twin 2 smoker
77-98, 76 honda 500T gave to a guy who needed parts.
79-81, 79 yamy 50 moped ha ha
81-97, 77 yamy dt400 I killed it, then killed it again & again
82-98, 75 honda 500T $10 guy said it run but as soon as you gased it boged
he had a hunk of foam over the intake took it off ran like a bear! gave to the same guy who needed parts. wish I sill had bouth
