That bike has a GSXR 1100 motor tucked into an aluminum frame with a very unique rear suspension setup. Bimota only imported about 600 of them, TOTAL. So, if you have a chance to get one at a reasonable price, DO IT!!!!!! If you buy it, you will own a true collectors item!

BTW, of the 600 SB6s made, only about 50 of those made it to the USA. And of those, who knows how many haven't been totaled. So, if mcbgti has a line on one, I would get it.

Not sure how you'd go about finding parts for it to fix 'er up. They (Bimota) WERE outta business & they don't make the Gix 1100 any more...

they say it's good to go and needs nothing, Possible recovered theft.
I'm not buying it anyway, just thought it was a cool bike that I've never seen before and wanted to know more.
You can always get engine parts from Suzuki. Suspension components from a number of manufacturers. The only thing that might be REAL trouble getting would be bodywork.Not sure how you'd go about finding parts for it to fix 'er up. Argo? If their asking $8000, it's probably a salvage title. If it were clean title, you could expect to may somewhere around $14K.
