Managed to slide my 2016 GSX-R750 down the track on both sides (two incidents). Had lots of protective parts so just scraped up some of the plastic fairing parts.
Went to Nault Suzuki and despite bringing the four damaged parts with me, they couldn’t figure out what parts to order. And claimed the part #’s on the parts were “useless.”
Is there another parts department that is more capable? In particular, this bike came in flat black finish. Been told some of the parts are NLA but this parts department is suss.
Really frustrating. Spared no expense on this bike (suspension upgrades from Kates, etc) but don’t think it’s salable as is. I would pull off all the stock bodywork and put race bodywork on it, but don’t plan on doing any more track days. I’m assuming it is worth more in the general market.

Revzilla OEM parts portal?
Partzilla has good diagrams for OEM parts as well. Not very cellphone friendly when searching through though
NLA parts on a 2016?
Mfgs are required to supply parts for a min of 10yrs. Might want to have that parts dept do a bit more legwork.
Couple of suggestions:
Call Wendy at Ronnie's. or dig into their on-line fiches first.

How about fixing the plastics? Someone like Peach Pit Painting

And don't believe everything you think.
it's been a long time, but I used to find a racer/trackday person parting ways with an entire street set. Used what I needed, and sold kept the rest for my next crash. I'm sure someone somewhere has used parts in good condition they would part with?
Motorcycle is totaled. I’ll be by with a trailer to take it for scrap. New nesr service. No charge.
There are seemingly complete sets of aftermarket plastics available for around $500 on eBay. Are they any good?

If my experience with dirt-bike plastics kits maps; no, the stuff on ebay is nowhere near OE quality. Some of the brand name stuff is often close, but still lags behind OE fitment. None of those brand-name players seem to do street bike plastics. I often think there has to be a reason.
I got replacement plastics for my Suzuki V-Strom from one of the online parts houses. It was expensive, but they were real OE parts and were well worth the price. There was a significant discount vs the MSRP + that my local dealer wanted. Like you, my experience with the parts guys was not good. And they don't stock anything, even gaskets and such. So you are waiting on and sometimes charged a shipping charge anyway. I got fooled trying to get a clutch basket gasket for my SV before a race weekend once. Their ETA estimates were always "dunno, maybe tomorrow".
When i rolled my 2013 zX6r at NYST a few years back I bought a set from AuctMarts. Color was very good and they fit with no filing/drilling etc. Came in around 2 weeks. I will say one thing - can't mix and match them with OEM pieces that well due to slight variations in tabs, and maybe a shade of color. I put the whole set on except for the front fender. That said not sure how accurate their GSXR kit is.

Not going to lie, from the second I read the thread title I thought Street fighter. Naked bikes are a blast and I bet a naked Gixxer 750 wouldn't suck.
Do you know what the paint code is?

I ordered a side pod for a LS650 since they're rare as hen's teeth used, and when I received it, the paint was still tacky.
Edit: must be KGL?

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Cheap?
Check the prices at Ronnie's -- much less.

[edit]... plus if you call them (Ronnie's), they can tell you about availability, back ordered, whatever ...

I bought a set of ebay plastics for my duc, when I was getting the OEMs repaired. They are no where near OEM, but look good from 15 feet away. They'd be fine for track, but no way they'd pass as stock for street bike

If you are really on a budget, you can negotiate online and get unpainted Chinese fairings for less than $300. Then get a local pro like Peach Pit to paint them OEM. Fit can be slightly adjusted, and finish will be as good or better than OEM.

why don't you just sell it to someone who wants a track bike. Either put on track plastics or sell as is
