It's been beautiful for the past two weeks, today the sky opens up and the temp drops to the mid 50's![]()
Despite the greasy new Dunlop D208's and Pacific northwest-like conditions I actually had a fun ride home. It's a more confidence inspiring ride in the wet than the Pilot shod 954. About ten miles of curvy rural roads separate my house from the dealer so I only have a small sample to go on but I was impressed with the motor. I've been hearing a lot of people say that the DRZ400's are kinda pokey but it had more go-go juice than I expected. It's supposed to clear up tomorrow so I'll try and get some pics (I know you're all just dying to see pics of my bone stock DR ) and give some more initial impressions after a proper ride.
Also, I was sorry to leave the 954 behind, there are times when I'll miss the power, sweeeeeet handling and good looks but the ride home confirmed that I had made the right decision. It will be nice to be able to have fun at legal (or closer to legal) speeds.![]()
Watch the sparrow falling
Gives new meaning to it all
If not today nor yet tomorrow
then some other day
I'll take seven lives for one
And then my only father's son
As sure as I did ever love him
I am not afraid
05 DRZ400SM bone stock (for the moment). Most fun I've ever had on two wheels baby!!!
congrats on the new wheels, bro![]()
