The port fueler has been good for my application which is a sleeper street bike. I suspect that If I were building all out I would go with a different system, but for a bike whose main job is to lug me back and forth to work and occasionally crush the ego of a squid on his new R1 it is great
Love it! Yes my application is also starting out as a sleeper setup. Main reason is just not wanting the cut the plastics! With almost a couple of grand paint job we have shyed away at this point as to cutting the plastics for the air filter and exhaust.
My builder Joey at RPM talked me into going with a GP style exhaust the same as on his turbo 1000 it dumps right behind the rear plastic by the back tire. VERY sleeper. Can't see anything because we are running a FMIC and MOST people think its a big ass radiator and it hides the turbo. Only thing of notice is going to be the SSQ and the 50 trim spooling up but I will be long gone anyways so it should leave them with a wtf was that thing look on there face.
Mine is the Hahn Kit using a Mitsu super 16G turbo I use a low profile K&N FIlter that tucks under the plastic. I am running mid Pipe back to a Micron can. The only mod I have mad to the plastic is on the inside of thr right mid faring because I have relocated my oil filter and I had to cut the inner edge of the scoop. It is not visible from the outside at all.
sure here it is again
No plastic the day I relocated the fan temp sensor

Very nice! And very sleeper. No issues with heat with no IC?
Ahhh true true. Traffic is not an issue either?
Going to try and heat wrap the exhaust, turbo, and header with DEI exhaust wrap and a turbo blanket. Worked outstanding on my race car going to see if it will make a noticeable difference on the bike 350-400 hp street/race bike still with an FMIC at this point. Only issue with a FMIC is that it blocks a lot of air going to the radiator.
The only time I have ever had a problem with heat was after filling the radiator and not burping it. No not even in traffic. I did take the added measure of a manual switch for the fan so if I do hit stop and go I just turn it on. Some guys add a second fan to their Gen 1s and I may do that just because I like the Idea of extra protection. Lots of the folks I know running stage 1 turbo setups dont even relocate the the temp sensor. Some use the fan sensor from a Honda Accord cause it turns the fan on at 180 instead of 210 the way the Suzuki part does. It is a direct swap.
Exhaust is done!

should sound crazy!
Welding is all set! Just needs to be wired and the fuel system sorted out and the turbo blanket and exhaust wrap added then we can fire her up!

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Crew from RPM was at it again this weekend!
Bike is fully mechanically together now wiring this week into next and we will fire her up!
Trying something new... Added a lava rock turbo blanket and exhaust wrap to see how much of a difference on cooling we can make.
