Read the reviews ,, and still bought 2 X1's today . Some were happy with them and some were not ( typical ) so we'll see come spring time . Anyone have experiences with them ? I wasn't looking to get the acclaimed 5 mile range ,, but to be able to tell the G/F when there is something to look out for makes sence to me . So we'll try them ,,, There's always E-Bay if they don't work![]()
A few of us have them. I think they're great. The range they tell you is in prime conditions, you won't get close to that. And battery life isn't really that great. I'd say it was a great purchase.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I have one. Used them at deal's gap. And I use it here a lot, too, but none of my buddies have them so mostly I use it to listen to music. You can plug two auxilary audio devices into it - so I can have my radar detector (V1) and my mp3 player plugged into it. I like them.
I have two for sale if anyone is interested... pretty much brand new.

I'm affraid to ask ,,, why are you selling ?
just dont get to use them enough, or for the reason i bought them for... other than that they worked great on the few times i used them

i think the X1 goes for about $250-260 new. how do the speakers mount inside the helmet? i've only seen pictures of the kit, but not a good look at it installed. looks like they could move around easily or fall out.
279 new
if you have an helmet with a removable liner chances are you can stick them inside the cheak pads.. i know i can on my rx-7 soumy and agv

the majority of helmets actually have pockets built in, and there is adhesive you can put on the speakers to stick them to the cheak pads.
