Gently use a heat gun and GooGone...its very safe on all plastics. Use towel and let the stuff sit for a few seconds before rubbing it. Wash and wax after you should be all set.
NOTEoNOT use the goof-off stuff in a small metal can its too harsh messed up a oem winshield of mine.

Once the game is over, put the pieces back in the box and put the box back in the closet. Be sure to get all the little men and the weapons (Candlestick Holder, etc.)
Recycle the beer cans/bottles, throw away the empty pizza boxes, and wipe the table with a clean cloth.
Voila...Clue is removed...!
(GooBeGone didn't work??? hmmm)

Best tool I ever bought!!!! Dynazip Eraser Decal Removal Air Tool - DNA18258
It is scary to use at first, but it works great, no damage to the paint, and fast!!
You can remove all glue and stickers on a fairing in 10 minutes.

goo gone + cloth = win
If its still made, Whip Strip. Removes wax, pine pitch, tar, bugs, glue and even over spray from paint. Just rewax and good as new.
A guy was spraying a roof next door and got silver paint on by old bike. Took it all off and you would have never known it was there.
